Pharmaceutical freeze dryer is a technology that uses the principle of sublimation for drying. It is a process of quickly freezing the dried material at low temperature, and then directly sublimating the

frozen water molecules into water vapor in a suitable vacuum environment. . The resulting product is called lyophilisate, and the process is called lyophilization.

Freeze-drying technology is used in biological products, western medicine production, traditional Chinese medicine production, medical treatment, and the application of freeze-drying of food. When

working, lift the material rack out of the cold trap cavity and place it on the spare movable hard plastic disc (both are placed above the cold trap cavity), and then cover the plexiglass cover. , After the

material is pre-frozen, quickly transfer the material from the pre-freezing rack to the shelf of the capping device, and then cover the plexiglass cover for the capping.

The entire freeze-drying process of the pharmaceutical freeze-drying machine is carried out in a low-temperature and low-pressure environment, and the freeze-drying method can effectively retain the

heat-sensitive components and original biological characteristics of the freeze-dried products. The freeze-drying process is a process of gradually warming up from a low temperature. If the temperature

rises too fast and the temperature is too high, it is easy to cause the final freeze-dried product to collapse in appearance and poor in appearance. The freeze-drying process is divided into: pre-freezing, sublimation drying, and analytical drying. Wait for three stages.

The work of the pharmaceutical freeze dryer is to directly sublimate the solvent from the solid sample to the gaseous state in a vacuum state to achieve the purpose of drying. Because the samples are dried at room temperature or even low temperature, the biological activity of the samples is not affected,

and the treated samples are in a loose and porous state, which is easy to dissolve. So lyophilization is a good way to preserve biologically active samples.

When operating a pharmaceutical freeze dryer, users can follow some usage procedures.

1. Before each startup, first check whether the pump oil in the vacuum pump is sufficient.

2. Unscrew the drain valve and let the remaining water flow out. Tighten the valve after draining.

3. Check whether the contact part between the freeze-drying chamber and the cold trap is in good condition, clean and readjust if necessary.

4. Close all valves (the valve directly connected to the freeze-drying bottle, the white knob is turned up to close). Close the valve where you want to connect the cold trap to the vacuum pump (behind the instrument, connected to the vacuum line).

5. Turn on the power switch of the cold trap and the power switch of the vacuum pump.

6. After 15 minutes, open the valve connecting the cold trap to the vacuum pump.

7. After 1 minute, the pre-frozen sample (already in the freeze-drying bottle) can be hung on the holder, and the corresponding valve can be opened to perform the freeze-drying process.

8. After freeze-drying, close the corresponding valve (the white knob is upward) and remove the freeze-drying bottle.

9. After removing all freeze-dried bottles, turn off the power of the vacuum pump and the cold trap in turn.

10. After the frost in the cold trap has melted, open the drain valve for drainage, and then close it.
