SED-4CG Automatic Linear Screw Capping Machine is suitable for plastic and metal screw cap, which can handle a wide range of bottles without any change-parts for different bottle sizes. Our capping machine consists of two main components: the cap screwing unit and the cap feeding system with hopper. This capping machine is very ideal for application in Pharmaceutical, Food, Beverage, Cosmetic and other industries.

Working Principle

The operator pours caps into the hopper, and the cap elevator sorts and lifts the caps and conveys them to cap loading position through a feeding chute. The conveyor belt brings bottles forward continuously, and a bottle separation device controls the distance between bottles. When the bottle passes through the end of the cap feeding chute, a cap is automatically applied. Then a cap pressing head presses the cap into a horizontal angle, ready for future screwing. The machine has four pairs of constantly spinning wheels. These spinning wheels rotate to tighten the cap. The first pair of wheels rotate in the opposite direction to adjust the cap, ensuring higher accuracy of capping. After the cap is screwed, the aluminum foil detection device automatically detects the aluminum foil in the bottle cap, and if there is no aluminum foil, the bottle will be automatically rejected.
 

Stainless steel body: The machine body is made of high quality 304 stainless steel, which is durable and resistant to corrosion and oxidation.

Automatic cap distribution in cap chute, designed for each specific individual cap and production speed.
 

Distinctively designed bottle separation mechanism controls the distance between bottles, improving the capping accuracy.
 

Cap-screwing wheel distance adjusting handwheel can be used to adjust the distance freely according to the diameter of cap to be capped. Depending on the diameter of bottle and cap, the operator can also freely adjust the distance of bottle clamping rails and cap feeding chute.
 

Aluminum foil detection device automatically detects the aluminum foil inside the bottle cap, and automatically rejects the bottles lacking aluminum foil. (This aluminum foil detection device is not applied for metal cap, and this function can be cancelled when applying metal caps.)
