Quality Inspection Standard For Freeze-dried Food

The quality requirements of freeze-dried food are relatively strict. During quality inspection, the sampling rate accounts for 10% of the total number of each batch (except for special needs of customers). 


Small samples are randomly selected from each piece, and the samples are prepared for inspection after mixing. The inspection items are recommended by the industry. Roughly as follows:


1. Sensory indicators


Color: should have the color of the raw material of this variety.


Aroma: It should have the aroma of the variety (or the aroma after cooking).


Particle size: refers to the specification, according to customer requirements, of which the powder is less than or equal to 2%.


2. Moisture≤5%

3. Inclusions shall not be detected (referring to non-raw materials or their lysates).


4. Microorganisms. The total number of bacteria is less than or equal to 500/g; coliform bacteria is less than or equal to 10/100g;


5. Heavy metals. Arsenic (calculated as As)≤1.0mg/kg; Lead (calculated as Pb)≤2.0mg/kg; Copper (calculated as Cu)≤60mg/kg.


6. The loading amount shall not be lower than the marked amount.


7. Packaging materials are determined according to customer requirements.
