Tablet press is widely used in pharmaceutical companies. Our commonly used tablets are pressed by tablet press. Of course, large companies have large production volumes and usually use rotary tablet presses with multiple die rotations.
In general medical schools, clinics and pharmacies, most of them use single punch machines, which are relatively simple and can be pressed by hand when there is no electricity.
For the production of compressed tablets, the influence of pressure on the tablet press is very important. If it is too light, the pressing is not compact, and is not fragile and does not form.
If it is too heavy, the tablet will be too hard. In addition to the raw materials, it will also affect the taste of the tablet. So, the question is, how should we adjust the pressure of the tablet press and the thickness of the tablet computer?
Let's talk about pressure adjustment (for the name of each component, we can refer to the disassembly drawing of components in the book):
Loosen the "connecting rod nut" and roll the "upper punch" clockwise to move the "upper punch" downward. Increase the pressure and add the hardness of the pressed tablet. Otherwise, adjust the "upper punch" counterclockwise. The hardness of the tablets decreased as the pressure decreased. After adjustment, use a wrench to lock the hexagonal part under the upper punch and lock the "coupling nut".
At this time, the mold adjustment is basically completed, and then more than ten motors are tested. If the weight, hardness and surface finish are qualified, the material can be put into production. The quality of tablets must be checked at any time during production and adjusted in time.
Then, the thickness adjustment of the filling depth tablet (i.e. the weight of the tablet)
Loosen the "adjusting gear" and "pressing plate bolt" and loosen the "gear pressing plate". When the "adjusting device" is rolled down to the clockwise direction to raise the "lower punch", the filling depth decreases (tablet parts lighten), and the filling depth increases (tablet parts increase). After adjustment, press down the "gear pressing plate" and tighten the "pressing plate bolt".
Use and Characteristics of Tablet Punching Machine
The tablet press is mainly used in chemical, pesticide, pharmaceutical and other enterprises to dry granular impression, and meet the GMP standards and user requirements for blocky products. It has the characteristics of reasonable design, * process, simple operation and low energy consumption. The material of the contact part of the die and the tablet press is titanium alloy, which has good anti-corrosion function.
The main machine of this tablet press is composed of a 100T punch press. The number of strokes per minute is 21, which is the preferred power equipment for low power and large tonnage.
